The Experience
Aurora sprawls across Rendezvous Bay on the south coast and Merrywing Bay just inland, connected by shuttles and a long looping golf cart path. Days here have a resort-village rhythm: breakfast on a shaded terrace, a morning at the 27-hole International Golf Club, an afternoon dozing on the mile-long Rendezvous Bay sand, and dinner rotating through the on-property restaurants. What to Try
Book at least one round on the Greg Norman-designed course ??? it's the only golf on the island and the back nine hugs the sea. Order the Mediterranean tasting menu at the flagship restaurant, then walk it off along Rendezvous Bay toward the far end where the sand goes almost empty. Book a 90-minute treatment at Sorana Spa (16 rooms, so day-of availability is realistic) and pair it with the hydrotherapy circuit.

Rooms on the Merrywing Bay side are quieter and closer to the golf course and spa, while Rendezvous Bay accommodations put you steps from the best swimming beach on the island ??? decide which matters more before you book, because the walk between the two is longer than the map suggests and you'll rely on the shuttle. Also: ask for a golf cart with your villa; it makes the property feel half the size.
The Practical Stuff
Location: Rendezvous Bay, southwest Anguilla, about a 10-minute drive from Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport and 15 minutes from the Blowing Point ferry terminal (the arrival point from St. Martin). The resort arranges transfers. All-inclusive and room-only rates are both offered; golf, spa and premium dining typically cost extra. High season runs mid-December through April; hurricane season (August???October) brings the lowest rates but real weather risk. US dollars accepted everywhere on property.
