The Experience
There are really two Da'Vidas sharing one gorgeous stretch of Crocus Bay. The Bayside Bar & Grill is the barefoot side ΓÇö an open deck steps from the sand, breezy under a pitched roof, with servers happy to run drinks and plates down to your beach chair. Next door, the elegant Main House sits above the beach, open on three sides so the trade winds and turquoise view are part of the meal. Chef Prabu's kitchen leans into island-caught seafood and thoughtful international touches, and the vibe glides from families and boaters at lunch to date-night couples after sundown. On Sundays, the whole place turns into Anguilla's favorite beach party, with Omari Banks and his band playing live from 1 to 5pm.
What to Try
At Bayside for lunch, order the Chicken Caesar Pizza ΓÇö a white pie topped with a full Caesar salad ΓÇö plus the grilled mahi mahi with fries or the seafood wrap with tartar. If you're staying for dinner in the Main House, go for the Anguillian crayfish or the cowboy steak, both of which regulars come back for. Add a rum punch on the pier and, if the pizza oven is fired up, a wood-fired pie to share.
Insider Tip
Come on a Sunday if you want the party, but come on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday if you want the beach mostly to yourselves. Rent a kayak from the beach shack around 4pm and paddle 15 minutes north to Little Bay ΓÇö you'll usually have the tiny cliff-ringed cove entirely to yourselves, and the paddle back into the sunset is the closest thing Anguilla has to a private postcard. Also: use the floating pier to get in and out of the water rather than the shoreline ΓÇö it's easier and often has crayfish and starfish visible right underneath.
