Family-owned since the 1950s, JW Proctors is the closest thing Anguilla has to a hometown grocer with a modern twist. Founded by the late John Proctor after his years in Aruba's oil refineries, the store reopened in its current airy, air-conditioned space in December 2005 and quickly became the go-to for locals, expats and self-catering visitors alike.
The Experience
Push through the doors into The Quarter's largest and most organized supermarket and you're greeted by wide aisles, clean signage and a genuinely friendly uniformed staff who'll happily disappear into the stockroom to hunt down a missing spice.
