The Juice Bar Anguilla
Cold-pressed juices and healthy island cafe fare in South Hill
Why Go
Bright, family-run South Hill cafe where cold-pressed juice pioneers turned their 2013 side hustle into Anguilla's go-to spot for avocado toast, acai bowls, and Illy espresso.
The Experience
Perched in the heart of South Hill across from Romcan Mini Mart, The Juice Bar feels less like a restaurant and more like your healthiest friend's kitchen - if that friend happened to press her own tropical juices daily. The space is small, sunlit, and bursting with color, and you'll almost always find owners Melisha, Cardie, or daughter Carjenee behind the counter greeting regulars by name. Mornings hum with locals grabbing a Flu Shot on their way to work and expats camped out with a matcha latte and laptop; by lunch the crowd shifts to villa guests and yacht crews from nearby Sandy Ground fueling up between beach runs. The vibe is casual counter-service - order at the till, grab a seat inside or on the little terrace, and watch island life roll by.
What to Try
Start with a cold-pressed juice - the ginger-turmeric Flu Shot is the house classic and worth the wince. For food, the Classic Avocado Toast on sourdough (mixed olives, red onion, cherry tomato, shaved parmesan) is the runaway fan favorite and rightfully so. If you're hungrier, the Crispy Chickpea Caesar with grilled chicken and the Island Bowl both deliver, and the Spinach Mushroom Pasta is the sleeper hit for a late lunch. Save room for the Acai Bowl with chia pudding and granola - it doubles as breakfast or dessert.
Insider Tip
They're closed Sundays and shut the door promptly at 6pm, so plan around it - and if you're heading to the beach, call ahead to order juices and wraps to go (delivery is also available). The full hot food menu only launched in 2025, so if you visited pre-pandemic thinking of it as just a juice counter, come back hungry.

Pair It With
- Sandy Ground — Ten minutes downhill from South Hill - grab a juice and wrap to go, then spend the afternoon at Anguilla's most social beach and stay for sunset drinks at Elvis' or Roy's.
- Meads Bay — The Juice Bar's healthy breakfast is the perfect prelude to a long morning walk on Meads Bay's mile of powder-white sand before the sun gets serious.
- The Valley — Fuel up with a Flu Shot and avocado toast before wandering Anguilla's small capital for the Wallblake House heritage tour and local craft shops.
- Shoal Bay East — Pack a cold-pressed juice cooler for the 20-minute drive to Shoal Bay - the beach has no shortage of rum, but a real green juice is a rarity worth bringing along.
