Ride Blue SXM is the island’s first electric scooter share service in Sint Maarten, offering eco-friendly e-scooter rentals for exploring the island. Users download the Ride Blue app to sign up, locate nearby scooters on the map, scan a QR code to unlock, and ride. Pay-per-use pricing is $1.70 to unlock, $0.50 per minute to ride and $0.11 per minute to pause. Ride passes: Day Pass $30 for unlimited riding over 24 hours; Week Pass $140 for unlimited* riding across 7 days (*free vehicle unlock plus 5 rides of 15 minutes each per day); Month Pass $226 for unlimited riding for the entire month. A $50 pre-authorisation must be available on your payment method to keep your account active and ride — this is a hold, not a charge: only the ride fee is taken and the rest is released afterwards, and topping up your in-app wallet skips the hold entirely.
