Wander Route Coastal Trail (also known as Wandelroute Point Blanche naar Guana Bay) is a popular self-guided coastal hiking trail on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten. The trail starts near Point Blanche (close to Philipsburg) and follows the rugged southeastern coastline to Guana Bay, offering stunning ocean views, rocky cliffs, hidden coves, and opportunities to spot wildlife and seabirds. The hike is moderately challenging with some steep sections, uneven terrain, and exposure to sun/wind, typically taking 2-4 hours one way depending on pace and stops. It is free to access, unmarked in parts but generally easy to follow along the coast, and known as one of the island's most beautiful and less-crowded nature walks with panoramic Caribbean Sea vistas.
